Know before you book

Three-night minimum

We ask for three nights or more. It takes most groups a full day just to unload, learn the trails and settle in, and we'd rather you have the time to actually enjoy being here.

Waiver required

Every guest signs one before the stay, and Aaron sends it over as soon as you book. The ground out here has real ruts, steep banks and creek crossings, so the waiver just makes sure everyone knows what they're walking or riding into.

Check in and out

Check in after 12:00 PM. Check out before 12:00 PM.

Pets welcome

Dogs are allowed, and there's plenty of room for them to run.

Security cameras

Exterior cameras are on the property. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms inside.

Whole property

You get all 174 acres and all three cabins. No other guests, ever.

Address

Exact address and gate directions are sent after booking.

Hunting

Clear hunting plans with the host first, and follow Indiana DNR rules.

Pack list

What to bring

Two cabins have kitchens, so you can cook. There's no store around the corner, so shop in Bedford, Seymour, or Columbus on the way in.

If you're riding

  • Bikes, quads, or side-by-sides plus a trailer
  • Helmets and protective gear for everyone
  • Fuel, spare tubes, tools, tire plugs
  • A basic first aid kit

For the cabins

  • Groceries and drinks for the whole stay
  • Trash bags and paper goods
  • Firewood or check with the host
  • Flashlights or headlamps

Good to have

  • Boots you don't mind ruining
  • Layers, since the ravines stay cool
  • Downloaded maps, cell service is spotty
  • Camp chairs for the fire pit
Your hosts

Aaron and Whitney

Aaron bought the property as a place for family and friends, then opened it up to guests. He works in roofing and restoration, and he hosts alongside Whitney.

He responds to 89% of guest messages and usually answers within an hour. Guest reviews name hospitality as the single most mentioned theme, ahead of the outdoor space.
