Guests get private access to miles of off-road trail across all 174 acres, with wooded hill country, elevation changes and creek crossings. Dirt bikes, ATVs, side-by-sides and UTVs are all welcome. Bring your own machines, since none are available to rent on site.

The Knobstone Trail, Indiana's longest footpath, runs through the property. Walk out the cabin door and onto it.
The same climbs and loops work on two wheels without a motor, if that's more your speed. The elevation here is real, not a rail trail.

Riders who came here through the 2000s and 2010s described the same things over and over in forum threads: hill climbs, a flat track, tight woods trails, and creek crossings. Some of it is genuinely hard. Some of it is a two-track you can cruise.
It sits in the hills west of Kurtz, off Highway 50 between Bedford and Brownstown. This is the knobstone escarpment, so the elevation change is the whole character of the place. It's not flat Indiana farmland.
Wet weather matters here. Riders noted for years that the trails get rough after a heavy stretch of rain, which is worth planning around if your group is mixed skill.

Fire pit, grill, and picnic tables. Light pollution out here is close to nothing, so the sky after sundown is worth staying up for.
Wide open space, no through traffic, and no other guests anywhere on the property. Pets are allowed, and they get the same 174 acres you do.
