There are three cabins on the property. Two are sleeping cabins with kitchens and full bathrooms, and the third is the bar cabin, which is the gathering space with a half bath and a loft bed. They sit close enough together that your group stays connected but far enough apart that people who turn in early aren't listening to the ones who don't.

There are 13 beds across the three cabins, which sleeps around 20 people when some of your group shares. For bathrooms, the two sleeping cabins each have a full bathroom, and the bar cabin has a half bath so nobody's walking across the property in the middle of the night.

Two of the three cabins have full kitchens with a refrigerator, range, microwave and the basics you'd need to cook for a group. The bar cabin doesn't have a kitchen, which is on purpose since nothing gets cooked in there. Most groups do their cooking in one of the sleeping cabins and use the bar cabin for everything after dinner.

The bar cabin is the middle building and it's where your group will end up every night. It's got a built-in bar, neon on the walls, seating for the whole group, an arcade machine, a half bath and a loft bed tucked above. Think of it as the room you'd build if you knew everyone was coming back muddy and wanting to sit down together.

Yes, the cabins are set up for year-round stays with heating and cooling, which matters here because southern Indiana gives you humid summers and genuinely cold winters. Groups book this place in every season, including deer season in November and holiday gatherings in December.

There's Wi-Fi at the cabins. Cell service depends on your carrier, and out in the hills it can get spotty once you're away from the buildings and down in the trails. Most groups treat that as part of the appeal, but if you need to stay reachable for work, plan to do it from the cabins rather than from the far end of the property.

Linens and towels are provided, so you don't need to pack bedding for 20 people. What you will want to bring is anything specific to your group, like extra towels if you're planning a lot of creek time, and your own toiletries. Yes, there's a fire pit outside with seating around it, and it's where most groups spend their evenings before moving indoors. Yes, and a good share of our guests never get on a machine. There's hiking across all 174 acres, the creek, the fire pit, the bar cabin, and the Knobstone Trail running through the property for anyone who'd rather walk it than ride it. Groups often split up during the day and come back together at night.

The cabins themselves are straightforward to get in and out of, and plenty of families bring grandparents and young kids. What to keep in mind is that this is a working trail property, so the ground between buildings is uneven in places and the trails have real drop-offs. Families usually set ground rules on day one about where the little ones can wander.

Both are by arrangement with ownership, and neither is included with a cabin booking. Skeet means bringing your own guns, ammunition, clays and thrower, arranged with Aaron for your dates. Nothing's provided or rented here. Horseback riding here means bringing your own horses and riding the property. There aren't any horses kept on site and we don't provide them. Only by arrangement, and it's priced separately. Short-term hunting access is quoted between $1,000 and $5,000 depending on the season, the size of your party and the dates. Hunting isn't included with a cabin booking and renting the property doesn't carry a right to hunt on it. Groups do book here as hunting camps, particularly in the fall.

Yes, Indiana hunting licenses are required and they're issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, not by us. Check the current season dates and license requirements on the DNR website before you travel, since regulations and dates change year to year.

It works well for one. You get the whole property to yourselves, three cabins with beds for around 20, kitchens for cooking what you bring back, a fire pit, and enough room that a group can spread out. The hunting itself is a separate arrangement at its own rate, so agree it with Aaron before you book rather than after you turn up.

Bring your machines, riding gear, and groceries for the length of your stay. Linens and towels are provided. Beyond that, think about layers since the hills run cooler than town, boots you don't mind ruining, and more towels than you'd expect if the creek is running.
